We had the pleasure of working with the late and great Rik Mayall on our -C/K series. Legendary voice actor Rik Mayall won an Emmy Award in 1997 for his Outstanding Voice-Over Performance as the voice of Toad in The Willows In Winter. He has also entertained with his narration of the Dr Seuss Collection and as the voice of Kehaar, the black-headed seagull, in the animated television series Watership Down. He very kindly agreed to read our Sound Steps To Literacy -C/K books so that you and your child can enjoy the books and read along with the helpful CD.

Rik Mayall is best known for his comedy shows such as The Young Ones and Blackadder and has appeared on Jackanory, Spongebob Squarepants and The World of Peter Rabbit and Friends. He has also starred in ITV series Grim Tales, in which he narrated Grimm Brothers Fairytales while puppets acted the stories. Mayall has appeared in many feature films, such as Drop Dead Fred, The Wind In The Willows and The Snow Queen. In the 2005 poll the Comedians' Comedian, Mayall was voted among the top 50 comedy performers of all time.
