Bumper Story Bundle – Clarabelle’s Scarf

Developed by speech and language therapists this bundle makes it easy to boost all children’s language and early literacy skills. Highly flexible and designed for use with individuals or small groups it’s also ideal for supporting children with speech and language delay or EAL.

The speech and language activities are linked to the story to develop the children’s vocabulary, understanding and use of spoken language. The story is full of sound play (with a focus on rhyme and the sound ‘f’) and helps develop phonological awareness the key building block for phonics.

The MP3 audio book, read by Sophie Thompson, supports focused listening to boost speech sound awareness and the read along audio version supports emergent and reluctant readers.
